I had the pleasure of working with Evan Sophir this past June (2020) in our search for a home for my son in Boca Raton. At the time, the market was just heating up and availability of homes in the specific area we wanted to be in was limited and the homes that were available were going at or above asking price! We finally identified a house that had previously been on the market but at the time was not available. Evan was able to track down the owner of the property and engage them. After a little back and forth we were able to make an offer on the property. Ultimately, the offer was accepted and at a decent discount over the previous listing price! What made this an exceptional transaction is, we were in Cincinnati, Ohio at the time and during the Covid outbreak. Meaning we were unable to travel and visit the property. So, Evan had to do all the walk throughs virtually (FaceTime) as well as all the inspections. Evan even helped with meeting contractors at the house as we got bids for upgrades that we wanted to do on the house prior to moving in.
